Welcome to Cleaner Hive ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using www.cleanerhive.co.uk (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Platform.

1. Description of Service

Cleaner Hive is an online directory and lead-generation marketplace. We provide a platform that allows individuals seeking cleaning services ("Customers") to connect with independent cleaning businesses and professionals ("Professionals").

Crucial Distinction: Cleaner Hive is NOT a cleaning company. We do not employ the Professionals, nor do we provide cleaning services ourselves. We merely provide the software to facilitate introductions and quote requests.

2. Relationship Between Customers and Professionals

• Contracts: Any agreement formed for cleaning services is strictly between the Customer and the Professional. Cleaner Hive is not a party to these contracts.
• Payments for Services: Cleaner Hive does not process payments for cleaning jobs. Customers must pay the Professionals directly according to their agreed-upon terms.
• Disputes: We are not responsible for resolving disputes between Customers and Professionals regarding pricing, quality of work, damages, or missed appointments.

3. Account Registration & Security

To use certain features (like requesting quotes or listing a business), you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• Maintain the security of your password and login credentials.
• Accept full responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban accounts (including blacklisting email addresses) that violate these terms, post spam, or engage in fraudulent behavior.

4. Obligations for Cleaning Professionals

If you register as a Professional on Cleaner Hive, you represent and warrant that:

• You have the necessary skills, qualifications, and legal right to work in the UK.
• You hold adequate and valid public liability insurance for the services you provide.
• You will provide accurate quotes and honor the prices you agree upon with Customers.
• You will comply with all applicable UK laws, including tax and employment regulations.

5. Premium Subscriptions (Professionals)

Cleaner Hive offers a "Premium" subscription tier for Professionals to enhance their visibility (e.g., top-of-directory placement, special offer banners). Subscription fees are billed as agreed upon at checkout. You may cancel your subscription at any time, but we do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.

6. User-Generated Content

Users may post reviews, portfolio images, and job descriptions ("Content"). By posting Content, you grant Cleaner Hive a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute that Content on our Platform.

We do not pre-screen Content but reserve the right to remove any Content that we deem abusive, fake, defamatory, or in violation of these Terms (including fake reviews).

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive to maintain a high-quality directory, we do not guarantee, background-check, or officially endorse any Professional listed on our site. Customers are entirely responsible for vetting Professionals (checking references, insurance, and qualifications) before hiring them.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Cleaner Hive and its owners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Property damage or theft occurring during a cleaning job.
• Loss of profits, data, or business goodwill.
• Personal injury arising from the interactions between Customers and Professionals.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes relating to these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
